Buro MA.AN Lunch Lecture

🏙🌿 Interested in learning more about the complexities of urbanism from the perspective of a young designer? 👷

Buro MA.AN works across the disciplines of urban planning, landscape, visual arts, and architecture, developing a diverse portfolio of projects. In addition to inner-city projects, we frequently work on residential developments in rural landscapes. These projects are gaining increasing attention due to, on the one hand, the high pressure on the housing market and housing affordability, and on the other hand, the landscape transition challenges in rural areas.

This lecture explores our role in creating residential landscapes where affordability, water, soil, and ecology are recurring themes. From the perspective of a young urban planner, the lecture also addresses how, as a young designer, you can approach such challenges and where your added value lies within the complexity of interests, transitions, and personal fascinations.
